NTR opined release dates have become very crucial for a films success as we don't see films running in theaters for 50 or 100 or 200 days any more. According to him, The theatrical life of a movie has fallen to just 2 Weeks and hence the importance for seasons such as Pongal, Summer & Dussehra have grown.
Saying that he is aware of the fact that skipping a festival season will put additional burden on the Producers, NTR made it clear neither was in a position to delay his film's release or ask other heroes to change the release dates. He said Producer's call has to be respected as a lot of money is at stake.
