NTR Sings Puneeth's Song For One Last Time!

It is known that the team of 'RRR' has shifted gears and started promoting the film in an aggressive manner. The trailer is getting a thunderous response and the movie buffs can't wait to watch the film on the big screens. The whole team barring Ram Charan attended the press meet in Mumbai on Thursday and they held press meets in Bengaluru and Chennai on Friday.

While speaking to the media in Bengaluru, the team revealed some interesting snippets about 'RRR'. The interaction took a serious turn when a media person asked NTR about his relation with Kannada Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar who passed away recently. He even asked him to sing 'Gelaya Gelaya' sung which NTR sung for Puneeth's film.

NTR became a bit emotional while talking about the late hero. He said, "Wherever he is, his blessings should always be on us." Then he stated that this is going to be the last time he is going to sing this song and went on to sing a line from 'Gelaya Gelaya' song. 'RRR' is going to hit the screens on 7th January 2022.

Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt will be seen romancing Charan in this gigantic film. RRR' is a fictional drama set in the backdrop of pre-Independence. Hindi action hero Ajay Devgn plays a key role. Olivia Morris is the heroine for NTR and DVV Danayya has produced this film on a budget of over 400 crores. KK Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Kotagiri Venkateswar Rao is editing 'RRR'. Saby Cyril is the production designer while Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor. Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer while Sai Madhav Burra has penned the Telugu dialogues for this pan-Indian film. Ram Charan is going to be seen as Alluri Seetharamaraju while NTR plays the role of Komaram Bheem.

'RRR' is going to face tough competition from 'Radhe Shyam' and 'Bheemla Nayak' during the Sankranti season in the Telugu market. There is news that Vijay's 'Beast' will be releasing in January too. Though we need to see who backs out from the Pongal race, the movie lovers are all set to enjoy the visual feast from Rajamouli & Co.
