With all the pan-Indian films and big star hero films getting released, the makers of medium-range and dubbing films are lining up for the next two months. Many films which were postponed for these big releases are arriving one after the other.
On June 3rd, three films are arriving in theatres. While the first one is Adivi Sesh's biographical drama 'Major' which is releasing in multiple languages, the other two releases are Kamal Hassan's gangster action drama 'Vikram' and Akshay Kumar's period drama 'Prithivraj'. Both these movies are releasing in Telugu too.
On 10th June, Nani will be arriving with his rom-com 'Ante Sundaraniki' which has good hype surrounding it. On the same day, '777 Charlie' featuring Rakshit Shetty in the lead will be coming out. This Kannada film is a heartfelt story of a man and his dog. Since they are not a competition to each other, Nani's film is expected to have a free run at the box office for at least a month.
With Ravi Teja's film postponed, Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi's intense love drama 'Virataparvam' is releasing on 17th June. It is directed by Venu Udugula and there are a lot of big names who acted in it. Kiran Abbavaram's musical romantic entertainer 'Sammathame' will be hitting the marquee on June 24th. Along with it, 'Gangster Gangaraju' is expected to arrive. If a medium-range hero's film plans to get released on the same day, there is a chance of these two films getting postponed.
On the 1st of July, a bunch of Telugu films like Gopichand-Maruthi's 'Pakka Commercial', Vaisshnav Tej and Ketika Sharma's 'Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga' are getting released. On the 8th of July, Naga Chaitanya and Vikram Kumar's soft romantic film 'Thank You' is going to hit the screens while Ram Pothineni will be arriving with his bilingual project 'The Warriorr' on 14th July. Nikhil's 'Karthikeya 2' will be arriving on 22nd July amidst high expectations while Adivi Sesh's 'HIT 2' and Sudeep's pan-Indian project 'Vikrant Rona' are getting released on 29th July.
Let us wait and see how all these films fare at the Tollywood box office.
