The election date for the Movie Artistes Association(MAA) elections is fast approaching. With ten days left for the election date, the contestants are giving all their best to gather support from all the corners. Manchu Vishnu is fiercely going ahead with the campaign activities.
Manchu Vishnu received support from the current MAA President Naresh. The senior actor held a press meet along with Manchu Vishnu and his panel members at Park Hyatt in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Naresh went all guns open at Prakash Raj at the press meet and accused him of misleading the MAA members. Naresh said that only a Telugu person should become the President of MAA. Others can be a member of the body but as a guest but not as a President.
Saying that MAA faced troubles during the Covid period, Naresh said despite facing a lot of troubles, MAA had successfully provided insurances to the family members of the victims who died with Covid. No matter what the problems we faced, we had managed to keep up the good work. In these three years, MAA had progressed, Naresh said.
Naresh asked Prakash Raj how many times he was suspended from MAA. Countering Prakash Raj's claims that he entered the election issue in the absence of the right candidate, Naresh said there are great actors in Andhra, Telangana, and Rayalaseema. Did you enter the issue directly, or someone else brought you, Naresh asked.
