OTT Platforms Lay New Conditions On Producers!

Many thought that the theatres will be reopened by July or August but considering the current situation, there is no chance of them opening till December. With the chance of big screens opening completely diminished, the small and medium films are looking at the OTT platforms.

The streaming sites offered good rates to films which attracted many producers but sources say that they are coming up with new conditions now. News is that they are not going to pay all the money at once but will opt for revenue sharing method. Even that money will be given after a few days of streaming as per reports and this clause is being put on the agreement deal as per insiders.

They are coming up with a plan of giving 75 paise to 9 rupees per one hour of viewership. These new rules are now becoming worrying all the filmmakers and producers as it is the only way to release their film for the next six months. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
