Update: 2020-03-16 06:07 GMT
Thanks to his stupendous performance in 'Arjun Reddy', young hero Vijay Devarakonda became a sensation all across the country. His films are being carefully watched by other industries too. Vijay bagged some big admirers in the Hindi film fraternity too.

To utilize this craze and gain a nation-wide market, Vijay decided to make his Bollywood debut with Puri Jagannadh's bilingual. The film's shooting is going at a brisk pace in Mumbai. He was supposed to make a Tamil-Telugu bilingual titled 'Hero' under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers banner but the film was shelved due to unknown reasons. Vijay reportedly insisted Mythri Movie Makers in making a pan-Indian film instead.  But the production house already spent a considerable amount on 'Hero' project and that is why there are opting for a normal film as per sources.

In the meanwhile, grapevine suggests that Vijay even approached UV Creations banner asking them to produce a pan-Indian film with him just like 'Saaho' and upcoming Prabhas film. Looks like, the pan-Indian demon possessed the 'Rowdy' hero as he is not seen concentrating on Telugu and focusing on Bollywood instead.
