Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's re-entry film 'Vakeel Saab' was supposed to arrive as a summer special. Fans were eagerly waiting for this film to hit the screens as they are dying to see their hero back on the silver screen from the last few years. But the film's shooting got postponed due to the Coronavirus and no one knows when it may get started again.
Around 20% of the shooting is left and the film's crew did not start filming even though the Telangana government gave permission for shootings. In a recent interview, Pawan Kalyan himself gave clarity by saying that the rapid increase of cases was the main reason behind not starting the shoot again. He added that maintaining physical distance is necessary and declared that the shooting gets restarted once the cases are decreased.
This means, 'Vakeel Saab' shooting may start only by the end of this year and it may not be a shocker if it gets pushed to 2021. Dil Raju hoped for a Sankranti release but it all depends on the situation of Corona pandemic in the country.
'Vakeel Saab' is a remake of Hindi film 'Pink' and the heroine is not yet finalized. Nivetha Thomas and Anjali are playing important roles while Venu Sriram is directing this flick.
