Reports were abuzz that Pawan Kalyan will be starring in the Telugu remake of Tamil hit 'Kaththi' starring Vijay and Samantha. The film which was directed by AR Murugadoss went on to became a smash hit during the Diwali season.
However, Vijay is keen on dubbing 'Kaththi' in Telugu as he wishes to improve his market in AP and Telangana. He is averse to the idea of remake as that move would eventually benefit the hero in Telugu version rather than him.
On the other hand, Tagore Madhu who acquired the dubbing rights of 'Kaththi' is planning to release the film in Telugu states on October 31st.
Simultaneously, Top Production Houses in TFI are holding talks with 'Kaththi' producer for remake rights. Most probably, 'Kaththi' dubbing version release will be stalled and Pawan Kalyan will be playing the lead in the remake if talks were fruitful.
