Update: 2021-10-23 12:38 GMT
The much-awaited teaser of Pethanna, the Telugu dubbed version of Rajinikanth's Annaatthe dropped a short while ago. The Telugu teaser was unveiled days after the Tamil version was released and it had garnered a positive response from the Tamil audience. Now, all the focus is on the Telugu version of the teaser which dropped a short while ago. As expected, the teaser is loaded with mass-pleasing elements that cater to front row audiences. Venkatesh Daggubati unveiled the teaser.

Now, coming to the teaser, it promises a mass feast. It is loaded with mass dialogues, Rajinikanth's trademark screen presence, and D Imman's loud background score. Rajini appears to be playing a strong-natured man from a rural household. The dialogue in the teaser implies the same. "So far you had only seen the good side of a rural man. Now you will see his rage,” the dialogue reads. Siva, who is known for churning out proper action entertainers with a rural set-up is now treading familiar territory with Pethanna. He seems to be presenting Rajinikanth much like the way he presented Ajith Kumar in Viswasam, which went on to become a big hit at the box offices across Tamil Nadu.

Rajinikanth's mass screen presence promises that Pethanna is an action feast and that should gel with the sensibilities of cinema goers this Diwali season. The teaser builds up for the film which will be out in theatres on the 4th of November. It is known that Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh are playing other important roles in the film. With under two weeks left for the film's release, we can expect the makers to amp up the promotional campaign. We can expect more promotional material to be out in the next few days.

Meanwhile, the fourth single from the film's audio album #VaaSaamy will be out tomorrow, 24th October. It is heard that the main trailer fo the film will be out in a week or so. We can expect it to be an action-orients one as well. More details about the project are expected to be unveiled in the days to follow. The film is funded by Sun Pictures.Full View
