Two Police Stations Were Closed Due To COVID-19 Outbreak

With the deadly outbreak of the novel coronavirus, we are getting to see many shocking and bizarre incidents. In one such incident, two police stations in Tamil Nadu were closed with the police personnel at the stations testing positive for the dreaded COVID-19 virus.

Going into detail, six police personnel working at Podanoor and Kuniyamuttur police stations tested positive for the COVID-19 virus raising many fears and concerns about the spread of the virus.

The authorities responded quickly and COVID-19 tests were done for around 105 personnel working at the police stations and though they were tested negative for the virus all of them were sent to quarantine as a safety measure.

The positive cases of COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu increased at once in the past few weeks though the cases were steadily increasing in the initial days of the outbreak of the virus.
