The MeToo movement has been gaining momentum with the support of each celebrity. Many actresses such as Samantha Akkineni, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari have declared their support for the #MeToo movement and the latest to join is Pooja Hegde.
In an interview, the actress said that #MeToo movement is bigger than one person or one girl. "So many women are coming out with their stories. I hope, the industry also takes a stand and helps to make it safer for the women." Said The Duvvada Jagannadham actress. "This movement is not only about men vs women but is more about making a safe environment. I would appeal to men also to help." She added.
On the work front, Pooja recently scored a blockbuster with 'Aravinda Sametha' which is creating a rampage at the box office. She will be next seen in Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 4'.
