Popular Heroine Turns COVID-19 Call Centre Operator

Amid Coronavirus outbreak, Young Malayalam actress Nikhila Vimal has turned an operator at a COVID-19 call centre in her hometown Kannur, Kerala. Nikhila Vimal debuted to film industry with Bhagyadevatha film in 2009. She is familiar to the Telugu audience with the films, Meda Meeda Abbayi and Gayatri.

This glam doll was inspired by a government awareness campaign and started volunteering the people. She notes down the list of essentials needed by the Kannur people and reports it to the officials, and the volunteers deliver the items at people's doorsteps. This is a great gesture by Nikhila to come to help the needy in these testing times.

On the film front, Nikhila will be seen in Maniyarayile Ashokan, The Priest, Ranga films. Among them two of the films, Maniyarayile Ashokan and Ranga are in the post-production stage.
