Popular Tamil producer SK Krishnakanth passed away on Wednesday after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. He was 52. The producer was not feeling well for the past couple of weeks. He died of heart attack on Wednesday evening and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Chennai. But he breathed his last even before reaching the hospital.
Krishnakanth initially worked as a manager at a famous production house. He then turned as a producer and delivered films like 'Thiruda Thirudi', 'Pudhukottaiyilirunthu Saravanan', 'Manmadhan', 'King', and 'Solli Adippen'.
He is survived by his wife Lakshmi and two sons Chandrakanth and Udayakanth. His last rites will be performed in Chennai today evening in the presence of his family members and friends. Meanwhile, many Kollywood stars and friends of the producer are extending their condolences on social media.
