Writer-turned-Actor Posani Krishna Murali responded on NTR Biopic. 'In my opinion, We could protect the respect people have on NTR if the biopic wasn't made at all & it's the best way to ensure his soul rests in peace. Why because, NTR's Life can be seen as Three Phases - Film Actor, Politician & Personal Life. In the process of presenting the truth, There is every possibility of making others unpopular. That's not going to work in favour of NTR's Family & those who admire him. For example, Then Congress MLA Chandrababu has given a statement after NTR floated TDP - 'I will contest even against NTR if I am offered the Ticket. After he faced defeat in 1983 Polls, Chandrababu joined the same TDP which he opposed. Be it for any reason, It's a fact that Babu has dethroned NTR and set him out of the party. Even Chappals were thrown at NTR at Viceroy Hotel. Who had thrown chappals and who made them do soâ¦everyone knows it! Is it fair to show this truth on the screen? Balakrishna needn't do this at this stage. If he skips these controversial elements, It will be disrespectful for Balayya. Showing NTR as a Lion or Great Person isn't the only aspect to cover. How such a great person suffered during his last stages & allegations he made against Chandrababu has to be covered? If all of them aren't included, Then it won't be a biopic at all. So, Why should we kill a dead person again & again by making these biopics when he is still treated like a Godly Figure by millions of people? Of course, They have the right to make biopic. But, I feel it's better not to touch that subject as a person who loved NTR,' he opined.
The Character Actor made it clear he neither have the necessity nor right to offer suggestions to Ram Gopal Varma in this matter. 'RGV knew everything about NTR's life..still, he wants to make the biopic. So, I don't want to comment on it!,' he said.
Posani claims he met NTR only once and that too during the launch of Chiranjeevi's 'Alluda Majaka' which was penned by him. When Producer Devi Prasad introduced Posani to him as Script Writer, NTR smiled as he was too young by that time to work for a Big Star's Film.
On a finishing note, Posani opined: 'There is nothing to lose if NTR biopic wasn't made. Why because, People all over the World have immense respect for him. If these people really love NTR, Then they should ensure Bharat Ratna is conferred for NTR...I am ready to touch their feet if they can do so!'.
