Prabhas moved Hyderabad High Court against the seizure of his farmhouse in Raydurg Panmaktha Village by Serilingampally Revenue Officials. He claims to have purchased 2,083 square yards of land in Survey No. 5/3 from B Shashank Reddy, B Vaishnavi Reddy and Usha in the year 2005. Prabhas Counsel informed the court that his Client paid Rs 1.05 crore for regularisation and have been paying Property Tax and Electricity Bills regularly. Revenue Officials were blamed for seizing the property without even serving notice.
On the other hand, Government's Counsel S Sarath Kumar informed the High Court about verdict of Supreme Court declaring the 84 acres of land in Survey No.5/3 as a Government Land. He clarified Regularization is meant for favouring who were in the Below Poverty Line (BPL).
That's when the HC Bench intervened to question whether if the Petitioner is a member of BPL Family. Then, Sarath Kumar informed Prabhas isn't a poor man but Baahubali. Quickly, Justice reacted, 'Oh...Ithanu Aa Baahubali Na'.
Even Niranjan Reddy confirmed Petitioner (Uppalapati Prabhas Raju) is none other than Young Rebel Star Prabhas.
Following which, High Court asked the Telangana Government to file counter affidavit. Notices were served to Revenue Department Chief Secretary, Ranga Reddy District Collector and Serilingampally Tahsildar. Next hearing will be on December 31st.
