Update: 2021-08-23 02:40 GMT
Prabhas is one of the busiest actors in Indian cinema currently. He has lined up several pan-India projects which are in various stages of production. His immediate next release, Radhe Shyam is ready for release and the film is announced for theatrical release next Sankranthi. The makers have announced that the film will be out in theaters on 14th January 2022. The shooting has been wrapped up already and this film is in post-production phase now. Now, the focus is on Prabhas's Salaar and Adipurush which are still in the early stages of the shoot. As KGF 2 is announced for release on 14th April, the date that was initially locked Salaar, the latter's postponement is a mere formality and the new release date will be announced very soon.

It is heard that Salaar will pushed to the latter half of 2022 and that would in turn mean that Adipurush, which is announced for release on 11th August next year will have to be pushed to next year. Also, Prabhas has asked the makers of Adipurush to plan an alternative release date in 2023 as he cant allot bulk dates for the project, given the fact that he also has to complete Salaar. So, with all these logistical complications in mind, the makers of Adipurush understood that it would be impossible to release the film in theaters in 2022. The makers are now in search of a plausible release date in 2023. The final call will be taken very soon and an official announcement on the same will be made correspondingly.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently shooting for Adipurush at a specially erected set in Mumbai. The talkie portion featuring him and Kriti Sanon is being shot in this schedule. A sizeable portion of the talkie portion will be wrapped up with this schedule. Once done with this schedule, Prabhas will immediately be moving to Hyderabad to resume shooting for Salaar. Prabhas intends to take Project K, a Nag Ashwin directorial onto the floors only after he is done with both Salaar and Adipurush. He aims to take this project onto the floors some time next year.
