Sensational: Prabhas Taking Rs 150 Crores Remuneration For Adipurush?

It is an open secret that Prabhas takes in upwards of Rs 100 crores as remuneration. That is understandable, given the fact that his films put on a sensational show at the box office regardless of the reviews. The fact that Saaho was one of the highest grossers of 2019 in Indian cinema despite garnering lukewarm reviews proves the same. Soon after, Prabhas emerged as one of the highest paid actors in Indian cinema. He is no lesser than the big Khans in Bollywood. Prabhas's box office pull and star power are next to none.

Coming to the topic, Prabhas is apparently taking home a remuneration of Rs 150 crores for his upcoming film, Adipurush which is nearing completion of the shoot. Apparently, the macho actor is taking an earth-staggering remuneration for the mythological epic. This is one of the highest remunerations paid for any Indian actor till date. T Series Entertainments who are bankrolling the project were more than willing to pay Prabhas such a whopping remuneration given his star power and impeccable box office pull.

Moreover, Prabhas had to build a slightly leaner physique, train in archery, and also take Hindi lessons for Adipurush. He put in his extra efforts for the project. This is partly one of the main reasons why he was paid such a whopping amount of money, say reports. Prabhas's sensational remuneration is now said to be one of the most talked about topics in Bollywood. Everyone is in awe of the staggering remuneration Prabhas is commanding now.

Adipurush is a mythological epic that is based on the Hindu mythology, Ramayan. Prabhas will be seen as Lord Rama in the film, which also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh. This project is nearing the completion of the shoot and it is announced for theatrical release on the 11th of August next year. It is being mounted on a massive budget. Om Raut, who previously helmed Tanhaji is directing the Prabhas starrer now. The film will extensively bank on VFX and CGI. It will be a mega project in Indian cinema and more details about the same will be out soon.
