The MAA election is getting interesting day by day. With the other panels keeping themselves distant from the polls, the election is going to be a tough fight between veteran actor Prakash Raj and Actor-producer Manchu Vishnu. With this, the two are targeting each other in their campaign.

The two contestants were involved in a heated war of words over Pawan Kalyan's statement during the Republic pre-release event. Prakash Raj hit back at Manchu Vishnu over his comments on Pawan Kalyan and asked him to think twice before commenting on a personality like Pawan Kalyan.

After his comments made many heads turn, Prakash Raj issued a statement clarifying his statements. The veteran actor said, there is nothing personal in the issue but he was not happy with Manchu Vishnu's statements and that is why he made those comments.

Saying that he enjoys a good rapport with the Manchu family, Prakash Raj said Mohan Babu is a very person. I like Vishnu, Manoj and Lakshmi. I have attended the shows hosted by Manchu Lakshmi. I like them personally and respect them. But the comments have hurt me, he said.

To the unversed, the war of words between the two started with Manchu Vishnu saying that he is with the Film Chamber in the ticket issue. Vishnu said he supports the chamber and asked what Prakash Raj has to say on this. Well, he didn't stop there. He questioned who will Prakash Raj support the industry or Pawan Kalyan.

Finding fault with Manchu Vishnu's comments, Prakash Raj advised Vishnu to not say such words. The actor said that Pawan Kalyan is part and parcel of the Tollywood industry and said such statements were not required. Prakash Raj made sensational statements and said the single show collections of Pawan Kalyan will be more than Vishnu Movies collections.
