The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took another sensational decision to bring transparency in the land registrations and other registrations. The decision on the same was announced by the government just now.
Going into details, the state government announced that all the land registrations and asset registration across the state will be done in the Village and Ward Secretariats only.
The new facility will be started in as many as 51 Secretariats in the state soon. To enable a smooth flow of work, the village secretariats will be given special training on the new system.
Bringing the registration facility to the ward level was proposed by the Andhra Pradesh government earlier in July this year. The Chief Minister had proposed the idea during the review meeting with key officials of various departments.
Chairing the review meeting on the municipal and urban development at the Chief Minister camp office in Tadepalli in July, CM Jagan had directed the concerned officials to focus on improving the facilities at the ward and village secretariats.
