In his statement given to a leading English Daily, director Puri Jagan has officially confirmed that distributors Kaali Sudheer, Abhishek Nama and Muthyala Ramdasu are resorting to blackmail tactics to trick him into believe that his film created losses.
"These distributors told me that they paid 7.5 crores for Loafer Nizam rights. My producer told that they paid less than half of it for distribution rights. But citing Loafer losses, these distributors are asking me to sign at least 5 films with their banner. Why would I?" asks Puri Jagan. He stated that distributors are just doing dramas to trick him into believe their false accounts.
"There is no option for me, than to fight back, for this blackmail", Puri concluded.
