Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun not taking any risk this time

Update: 2022-03-21 15:34 GMT
Pushpa 2, the sequel to super successful Pushpa was expected to commence the shoot this April and then release in theatres towards the end of the year. This was the early release plan that was conceived by Allu Arjun and Sukumar. But they have apparently changed the plan now and they have taken a detour of sorts.

In the case of Pushpa, there were several last minute hurdles. The shoot wasn't wrapped up on time and consequently, the promotions were affected as Allu Arjun wasn't left with much time to promote the film in the Telugu states or in the pan-India circuit either. However, the film could garner a good response from the audience and it made the most of the solo release advantage to make it big at the box office.

The latest news is that Allu Arjun and Sukumar are in no mood to take any risks with Pushpa 2 as they wish to keep as much time as they possibly can for the film's theatrical release.

The duo is aware of the fact that they could not promote the film to the fullest due to the delay in shoot and they now intend to plan the schedules very well for Pushpa 2.

So, the early plan of releasing Pushpa 2 in theatres by the end of 2022 is no longer consolidate. Allu Arjun and Sukumar have apparently come to a conclusion that they will take as much time as needed to complete the filming for Pushpa 2 and announce the release date only after the entire shooting part is complete. This is the plan that is in motion now.

As it stands, Pushpa 2 will be released in theatres only towards the early stages of 2023 or later. There is no longer the pressure to complete the filming at the earliest and release the film in theatres at the earliest. Allu Arjun and Sukumar are clear about the same and they will act accordingly.
