Icon star Allu Arjun is all set to cross a huge milestone by this weekend. The Hindi version of his recent outing Pushpa  The Rise has exceeded everyones expectations and it is now ready to cross the 100 crores mark in India by this weekend. This is a phenomenal run at the box office considering the fact that the movie was not promoted at all during the time of release.

To be fair the filmmakers did not focus on the Hindi version at all. The films Hindi version got an opening day collection of 3 crores which is not that huge. But the movie picked up through word of the mouth publicity and social media. The collections steadily grew and people started falling in love with Bunnys superb performance and his attitude as Pushparaj. The film started receiving accolades from the public and celebrities alike. The North audience immensely liked the film and started walking into theatres more than once.

What was more interesting is the fact that it managed to withstand a Bollywood star hero film like Ranveer Singhs 83 and still went strong at the box office. A few weeks into the release, the movie was made available on Amazon Prime Video but the films collections were steady. The Hindi version minted money despite all the hindrances like covid restrictions 50% occupancy in theatres competition from big films and it is all set to touch the 100 crore mark with zero promotions from the team. This is a sensational run for Pushpa and the expectations all over the country are very high on the second part. People are wondering what would have happened if the film was promoted aggressively and released on a grand scale in the Hindi belt.

Pushpa  The Rise is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling and it is released on a pan-Indian scale. It was dubbed in Tamil Hindi Kannada and Malayalam languages. Rashmika played the role of Srivalli in this film while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil played the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Actors like Ajay Ghosh Sunil Anasuya and others played negative roles in this high budget film
