Pushpa crosses KGF Hindi lifetime biz

Pushpa The Rise released on 17th December all over India and few parts of the world where Indian movies, especially Telugu movies have a big market. Sukumar wrote and directed the film.

Three years ago, KGF Chapter 1 released during the same time Pan India and Hindi version did 45 crores lifetime biz when Simmba was playing in the theatres along with Shah Rukh Khan's Zero. Film had huge promotions and Farhan Akthar presented in North markets as well.

Pushpa Hindi version did not have any promotions as the team did not have enough time still movie collected Rs.45.5 crores Nett in 13 days and it will end up collecting close to 60 crores Nett lifetime before RRR takes up all the theatres.

Recently, producer and director Karan Johar acknowledged Allu Arjun's growing popularity in North India and Pushpa business is a great mark for how well people are warming up to watch his films and Telugu films in general.

Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya, Fahad Fassil acted in the movie in major parts. Samantha Ruth Prabhu appeared in a special song. Movie could cross Rs. 200 crores gross at the box office this New Year's eve weekend. Mythri Movie Makers produced the film along with Mutthamsetty Brothers. Devi Sri Prasad scored music.
