'Pushpa' Girl Gets A Chance To Romance 'RRR' Star!

Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna is on cloud nine from the past few weeks. Her maiden pan-Indian release 'Pushpa - The Rise' turned out to be a huge hit. The film did great in South India but the collections were exceptional in North too. Since Rashmika is aiming to establish herself as a star in Bollywood, the success of 'Pushpa' is surely a major advantage for her. Apart from 'Pushpa - The Rule', Rashmika is yet to sign another big project in Telugu. But the latest news suggest that she is all set to become the heroine in another huge pan-Indian film.

Young Tiger NTR announced long back that he will be joining forces with his 'Jantha Garage' director Koratala Siva once again once 'RRR' releases. Since the release of 'RRR' is postponed, NTR and Koratala Siva are finalising the cast prior to starting the film in summer. There was a lot of discussion about the female lead in this movie and the rumours suggest that Rashmika Mandanna has got the part. She is yet to sign the dotted line and make it official but it will be interesting to see if this news becomes true or not.

Koratala Siva's films have a great social message but his heroines don't have much to do except for doing love scenes and songs. His previous films prove this and Rashmika is yet to get a big role in a star hero film. Her role in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' is outright silly and her role in 'Pushpa' was quite small. We need to see if she gets a meaty role in the Koratala-NTR film or not.

Currently, Rashmika is working 'Aadavaallu Meeku Joharlu' which is directed by Kishore Tirumala. Sharwanand is the hero in this film. She is doing 'Goodbye' and 'Mission Majnu' in Hindi right now.

She shot to fame with Kannada film 'Kirik Party' and made her Telugu debut with Naga Shaurya's 'Chalo'. Her first big hit was 'Geetha Govindham' which made her a star heroine. She went onto act in hit films like 'Devadas', 'Bheeshma' and others. She acted with Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun till date and is yet to act with other big stars in Tollywood.
