Two Top Directors Whom PVP Targeted!

Update: 2019-09-01 05:57 GMT
Seems like, The good time of Prasad V Potluri has finally begun after losing Rs 150 crore. He scored hits with 'Maharshi' and 'Evaru'.

In a recent interview, PVP claimed to have learnt how the Production Houses used to have complete control over the projects in the 50s and 60s. He feels bad that Producers are more like Cash Boys at present. 'I can surely say 99% of the Producers watch the movie only 48 hours before the release. Two of the biggest Directors in South India (Kollywood) don't even want Directors to be on the sets. Industry is working on demand and supply basis. Heroes have been doing films for Producers who approach them with lucrative offers. This Industry will progress only when Hero, Director and Producer work on profit sharing basis,' he said.

Who are the Two Top Directors PVP has been referring to? Undoubtedly, One of them could be Shankar. Who is the other one - Murugadoss or Atlee?

PVP doesn't mind saying producing Films is the most painful job as the credit goes to Hero & Director when a film clicks and Producer has to take all the blame when it doesn't. Several Top Producers disappeared in the past few decades after delivering one disaster. Did any of the Star Heroes face such a situation?
