The first two songs from Mani Ratnam's magnum opus film 'PS - 1' got a very good response. Since it is an AR Rahman's musical, the compositions are wonderful and the recently released trailer too created a huge buzz on the film. With a legendary director, dream star cast and top-notch technicians, the movie is arriving on 30th September amidst a lot of hype and expectations.
The team released the lyrical video of 'Raachasa Maavaya' and the composition of the song is very interesting. The song is designed as a conversation between lord Krishna and his uncle Kamsa. The music by AR Rahman is beautiful and vocals of seasoned singers like Shreya Ghoshal and Shankar Mahadevan made it even more magical. Lyrics by Anantha Sriram are quite meaningful and Rahman showcases the difference in the characters of Krishna and Kamsa through his music brilliantly.
Though proper care should have been taken regarding the breakage of words, the song still makes a very good impression. The lyrical video is also designed very beautifully and it is sure to increase the hype on this amazing film.
Produced under Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies banners, the cast of the film includes Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R Parthiban. Ravi Varman is the director of photography while Sreekar Prasad is the editor. The action was composed by Kecha Khamphakdee, Sham Kaushal & Dhilip Subbarayan. The movie is hitting the screens on 30th September.
