Allu Arjuns super hit film Race Gurram has bagged the prestigious BN Reddy Award for the year 2014. As the film became a sensational family entertainer with as much as 56 crores share collection from box office, it became the unanimous choice for the award.
BN Reddy is a stalwart of Telugu cinema who has produced super hit legendary movies like Mayabazar, Missamma and Gundamma Katha. He has built Vijaya Vahini Studios and made films, along with establishing a newspaper and magazine, Andhra Jyothy and Chandamama respectively.
VIjaya Medical and Education trust will give the award to Racegurram producers Nallamalupu Bujji and Dr Venkateswara Rao on April 19th at a special ceremony. Superstar Krishna will be giving the honorary award.
