Temple of Director's Mom to be opened soon

Raghava Lawrence decided to built a temple for his Mother Kanmani at his father's native place Poorvirundhavali in Tamil Nadu. The work of the temple began in 2014 itself. It was supposed to ready by 2015 but got delayed by few years.

The temple will be coming up in the same premises where Raghavendra Swamy temple was built by Lawrence. The 5-feet Statue of Lawrence's Mother was specially designed in Rajasthan.  

Lawrence have plans to install his Mother's Statue in the Temple on the eve of Tamil New Year in March 2017. A 13-feet Gayatri Devi statue will be installed right behind the idol of Choreographer's Mom. The opening ceremony of the temple will be in a grand manner.

The Choreographer-turned-Director claims it was his dream to built his Mother's temple when she is alive. He also wishes to pen a book about his upbringing by his Mom.
