The Good and Service Tax (GST) officials are searching the homes and offices for prolific film personalities for some time now. Recently, star writer-director Trivikra Srinivas's house was raided by the officers and his accounts were checked as per sources.
Other than him, writer Vakkantham Vamsi and Lavanya Tripathi were also visited by the officials. Also, the offices of 'Haarika & Hassine Creations' and 'Sithara Entertainments' were searched. Interestingly, both of them are the companies of Trvikram's good friend Radakrishna.
Reports say that they searched some builders, financiers, businessmen and a few members from the film fraternity as the officials had information that they committed tax fraud by showing them duplicate papers.
