The biggest hurdle Rajamouli's 'RRR' has been facing from the past one and half year is definitely the Coronavirus. This film was supposed to hit the screens in the summer of 2021 but it was postponed to October 13th and chances of it releasing on the announced date are quite slim.
During the first lockdown, the entire family of SS Rajamouli including music director Keeravani tested positive for the virus. They recovered after a couple of weeks of home isolation. Ram Charan too tested positive for the virus and recovered later. The shooting started again in August or September and filmed non-stop thereby wrapping up some important schedules.
The second wave forced them to stop the shooting once again and it is NTR who tested positive this time. He recently got negative results and is currently gaining full fitness. The film's heroine Alia Bhatt too got affected by the virus in the middle which showcases the number of times they had to postpone the shooting.
The team of 'RRR' came forward to spread awareness of the virus on a lot of occasions. Recently, the film's unit including Rajamouli, Senthil, Keeravani, NTR and Charan interacted with renowned doctor Shankar Prasad on Instagram. Rajamouli asked a lot of questions regarding the symptoms, recovery process and other issues. The video is available on Rajamouli's Instagram account and people can watch it to know more.
