When somebody watches Shivalinga scene in 'Baahubali: The Beginning'.. he will feel the devotion..the emotions. Can anybody think that director Rajamouli is an atheist after watching such a scene ? But that's the fact, Rajmouli is an atheist.. and he himself has revealed this.
He has revealed this, during a promotional interview of 'Baahubali 2'. Not only that, he has explained the reason for becoming an atheist. "This has not happened in a single night. When I was in teenage I used to strictly follow traditions.. I used to wear saffron clothes. I used to go to churhes and listen to the sermons. Even though I was in devotional route, I could not feel completely happy. That atmosphere didn't give me satisfaction."
"I entered industry later. I worked with Gunnam Gangaraju, who is an atheist. He gave me Ayn Rand's Fountain Head book. I don't say that I completely follow Ayn Ran philosophy but it has slowly changed me. It has had impact on my personality.. my thinking."
