Tamil Writer Rajasekhar moved Madras High Court leveling plagiarism charges against Rajinikanth's film 'Kaala' which is being Directed by Pa.Ranjith and Produced by Dhanush. He accused the Makers of stealing the script which he narrated to Thalaivar few years ago.

Rajasekhar claimed to have registered the title 'Karikaalan' long back. He alleges his script is being used for Rajini's upcoming flick with minimal modifications.

High Court served notices to Rajinikanth, Dhanush and Pa.Ranjith seeking their response to the PIL. Then, Dhanush moved a counter petition seeking dismissal of the PIL citing it's just a publicity stunt. He even claimed script of 'Kaala' is no way similar to that of story penned by the Complainant.

As a result, HC sought proofs backing his claims from Rajasekhar. The Writer submitted the copy of the script and photographs shot when he had gone to narrate the script to Rajinikanth. Next Hearing of the case is posted to August 8th. Court might compare the script submitted by Rajasekhar with that of 'Kaala'. If it did match, Dhanush will have to pay good sum to the Writer for using his Script without offering title credit & remuneration.
