This will be the Rajashekar's first film as villain. Rajashekar even refused the offer to play villain role in Raviteja's upcoming film under Venu Sriram direction. Citing that he would like to debut with Vandaku Vanda as a villain, the angry hero refused the offer when the film producer dil raju made this proposal. Its worth to mention here that Raviteja played friend role of Rajashekar in his super hit Allari Priyudu film.
