Rajinikanth donates 10 crores for Chennai flood relief

Kollywood Super Star Rajinikanth reached top in the list who donated big amounts. Rajinikanth donated 10 crores to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund for those affected by the heavy rains in Tamil Nadu.

As per latest reports, yesterday he met Chief Minister Jayalalitha and offered Rs. 10 Crore check to CM Relief fund to help people who severely affected by Chennai floods.

Few days before he made contribution of ten lakhs.The donation was made through Sri Raghavendra Public Charitable Trust, owned by Rajinikanth.With this his total contribution was reached to 10 crores ten lakhs which was the highest among all other stars. Next to Rajini it was Tamil hero Vijay who offered more.

According to rumours, the "Puli" star will be donating Rs 5 crore for the relief and rehabilitation of the the flood victims. However, it's not clear whether the actor will handover the money to Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa or some other organisations.
