Cine lovers are eagerly waiting for the release of '2.0', the craziest project starring Superstar Rajinikanth. Shankar direction, highest budget tag raised expectations on the film. But there is so much confusion regarding the release date of '2.0'.
Neither director Shankar nor Lyca Production gave clarity on the exact release date of the film till now. There were reports in the Kollywood that the makers are planning to release the film on April 14 but there is no confirmation. On the other hand, Rajinikanth simultaneously worked on another film 'Kaala' in the direction of Pa Ranjith. This movie is produced by Dhanush and Lyca Productions acquired the distribution rights. As Lyca is the producer even for '2.0' they kept on saying that '2.0' will be released first and 'Kaala' next.
