Distributors and Exhibitors still trust Rajinikanth so much inspite of Box Office duds such as Vikram Simha and Lingaa. Now, Makers of 'Kabali' made double profits prior to the release due to the same reason.

Apparently, Rajinikanth wanted to make 'Kabali' with a reasonable budget instead of investing over Rs 100 crore. As a result, The shoot has been wrapped up within Rs 70 crore.

As per trade circles, 'Kabali' Theatrical Business in India alone fetched around Rs 150 crore for Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. Which means, The Don-flick managed to collect double the investment and the profit gets doubled if the income obtained through Satellite Rights is included.

'Kabali' releases in May last week or June first half because of Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.
