Rajni Becomes A 'Jailer' For His Next With Nelson!

Update: 2022-06-17 07:02 GMT
Tamil director Nelson who is known for his engaging crime comedies like 'CoCo Kokila' and 'Doctor' has recently faced a huge debacle in the form of 'Beast'. He got a big chance of directing a star like Thalapathy Vijay but he couldn't make the best use of it. Though the film escaped with minor losses, people severely criticised Nelson for leaving his style and going the commercial way to please the star hero fans.

Even before the release of 'Beast', the director announced that his next project is going to be with superstar Rajnikanth. Produced by Sun Pictures, this is Rajni's 169th film and there are massive expectations on it. The announcement video garnered a lot of buzz around this project. Sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander will be giving the music for this project. Apparently, this movie is going to have a lot of big names involved. Firstly, the ever-gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going to be paired up with Rajni after 12 years. They were last seen together in 'Robo' and she took a gap from movies after that. They will reportedly be seen as husband and wife in this movie.

The makers have officially announced the title with a special poster. The movie is named 'Jailer' and we can see a huge knife hanging around with blood all over it. The poster looks intense and raises a lot of curiosity over the project.

There are reports that versatile actress Ramya Krishnan will be playing a vital role in this movie. We all know about the iconic Neelambari role she did in Rajni's 'Narasimha' which is etched in people's minds forever. We need to wait and see how Ramya Krishnan's role is going to be in #Rajni169. Also, happening beauty Priyanka Arul Mohan is also going to be a part of this project and the makers are searching for a young hero beside her. Also, it is Rajni himself who penned the story while veteran filmmaker KS Ravikumar is taking care of the screenplay. Let us wait and see how the film turns out.
