Ram Charan's Remake costs Rs 5.5 crore

People had fingers on their lips when Ram Charan openly announced he is willing to pay Rs 1 crore to whoever approaches him with a fantastic subject for Chiranjeevi's 150th Film. Now, The amount spent to obtain remake rights of Tamil blockbuster will stun everyone.

As per Industry buzz, Telugu remake rights of 'Thani Oruvan' have been obtained for Rs 5.5 crore. That too the deal was closed with the condition Mohan Raja who directed the original will wield the megaphone for Telugu version as well. The remuneration of the director willn't be less than Rs 5 crore for sure. On a whole, About Rs 25 crore of the total budget was spent for pay package of actors, technicians and workers wages.

Actually, Makers of 'Thani Oruvan' has demanded Rs 8-9 crore for the Telugu rights. Producer NV Prasad's good dealings with Kollywood helped in bringing the price down to Rs 5.5 crore.

No big changes will be made for the Telugu version, except for the few corrections to suit the nativity. Arvind Swamy who played the villain in Tamil version might be repeated for the remake as well. However, Nayantara will be replaced by either Kajal or Samantha or Shruti Haasan. This film might go on floors in November 2015.
