Update: 2021-09-01 12:25 GMT
Ram Charan is done with RRR, which is the most awaited project in Indian cinema. He is set to take his next project, RC15 onto the floors very soon. RC15 will be directed by maverick filmmaker Shankar and it will be mounted on a large scale. Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the female lead in the political thriller. There are several reports, claiming that RC15 will be hitting the floors by the end of September. It is heard that Ram Charan, Shankar, and Dil Rajun are planning to release the film in theaters during the 2023 Sankranthi season. For that to happen, the shoot will have to progress as per plans and there should be no unforeseen delays.

The latest news is that Ram Charan has locked the director for RC16, which will be his immediate next project after RC15. He has apparently green signalled a project under Gowtam Tinnanuri's direction. The project will be officially announced very soon and more details about the same will be out shortly.

Gowtam Tinnanuri had been in talks with Ram Charan for a long time now and even narrated a couple of scripts to the latter. Apparently, Charan liked one of the scripts narrated by Gowtam recently and he agreed to take the project onto the floors once he is done with RC15. Gowtam has reportedly penned a sensible love drama and Charan felt the story has the canvas to cater to pan-India audiences. Moreover, Gowtam is venturing into pan-India market with the Hindi remake of Jersey. He wrapped up shooting for the Hindi remake already and is awaiting its release.

Given the fact that Gowtam is versed with handling big-ticket projects, Ram Chara n agreed to collaborate with the former for his next. Senior producer NV Prasad and Ram Charan himself will apparently produce the film. Top technicians from various film industries across the country will be roped in for the project. It will be produced on a lavish scale. Charan is expected to take this project onto the floors once he is done with RC15's shoot. More details are awaited.
