Ram Charan's Counter to Dasari's Attack

Update: 2015-10-14 08:46 GMT
Dasari Narayana Rao openly criticized the sudden rush at Telugu Box Office during the Dussehra Season. He opined '3 Biggies in 3 Weeks' willn't be beneficial and a film like 'Rudramadevi' which have the potential to create history will have to suffer due to lack of sufficient theatres. "Ikkada Okkasari Moodu Cinemalu Moodu Varallo Pettukvadam Anedhi, Entha Varaku Samanjasam...Evaru Bagupadataniki...Evaru Nasanamaipovadaniki? Big Films don't need festivals... these are useless economics," he fumed at Rudramadevi press meet.

When quizzed him about the same issue, Ram Charan explained: "The thing is we announced the release date in March or April this year. Had if we have any knowledge about another big release in this season, We would have surely considered an another date because we knew how much it means. In case of 'Rudramadevi', We had no clue when it would release. Had if we has such clarity, this situation might not have arised. End of the day 'Bruce Lee' is also one film and My Producer has taken a call to capitalize on festival advantage & holiday season. I can't do anything about it!".

Ram Charan handled the issue in a much more matured manner this time. He didn't want his comments to stir any fresh controversy and kept it as simple as possible.
