Ram Charan, Shankar, Dil Raja Eyeing Sankranthi 2023 For RC15

Update: 2021-09-01 02:53 GMT
Ram Charan recently wrapped up shooting for Rajamouli's RRR. His immediate focus is on Acharya, which is in the final leg shoot. He needs to shoot for a couple of songs for the film and the same will be wrapped up in a week or so whenever Ram Charan joins the sets. Once he is done Acharya, Ram Charan will be immediately shifting his sight onto RC15, which was officially announced earlier this year. He plans to take this project onto the floors by the end of September. Shankar, who will be directing the project is getting the pre-production done at a brisk pace now. This project will be officially launched by mid-September and it will hit the floors soon after.

Both Shankar and Dil Raju, who will be producing the film have come to an agreement that the entire production part should be wrapped by the end of 2022. Dil Raju wants Shankar to be ready with the final cut of the film by next December. This way, the production costs don't shoot up and everyone involved can make decent profits from the film. Shankar has agreed to the same. The maverick filmmaker has to complete Indian 2 and then move on to the Hindi remake of Aparichithudu at the earliest. So, he plans to complete RC15's shoot at a brisk pace. He is personally monitoring the pre-production works so as to make sure that the film hits the floors as per plans and there won't be any unforeseen delays in the shoot once it commences.

If everything goes as planned, RC15 will be hitting the silver screens during the 2023 Sankranthi season. Dil Raju is planning for the same and both Ram Charan and Shankar have agreed to put in their best efforts to make sure that the shoot is wrapped up at the earliest and the film will indeed be readied for Sankranthi 2023 release. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in RC15. Thaman has already started working on the film's audio album and soundtrack. The regular shooting will commence very soon and more details about the principal cast and crew will be out in the days to come.
