Ram Charan's Truejet Comes Down Temporarily!

Update: 2022-02-17 12:16 GMT
Mega Powerstar Ram Charan invested in Truejet Airlines in 2015 and became a part of the aviation business. But the services of Truejet Airlines have been stopped since Wednesday night and it is due to various administrative and technical issues.

They released a statement clarifying that it is temporary and the services will be resuming soon.

They said, "Please be informed that there are a few ill statements being circulated on social media against Truejet Airline and these rumours are absolutely baseless and being circulated to defame the airlane.

The mentioned CFO – Mr. K.G. Vishwanath and CCO – Mr. Sudheer Raghavan has resigned and left the organization almost one year back."

"Truejet is in the final stage of discussion with a potential investor who is funding 25 Million USD within the next few days. The investor would like to bring his own panel of management and in the same process, Mr. Yoganarasimhan has been appointed as CFO w.e.f 14th Feb 2022.

The investor is also in the process of finalizing a new CEO who is well versed and experienced in aviation and will be totally taking charge as CEO on 1st March 2022. Till such time Mr. Umesh, MD will be the acting CEo for the company," they revealed.

Explaining the reason behind the stoppage in operations, V Umesh said, "The operations are temporarily hampered because of various administrative and technical reasons and rest be assured that Truejet will resume its operations at a short notice.

The statement which says the employees are not being paid a single penny since Nov'21, is absolutely baseless and their partial salaries are disbursed for a certain level of employees and 100% salaries are disbursed for low-income group of employees.

Truejet management is at its best efforts to regain its previous glory and soon will touch the skies with more number of machines."

Truejet made its entry into the aviation business as a part of the UDAN scheme by the government. It provided a lot of subsidies in order to make flying possible for the common man too. With UDAN ending and the pandemic hitting the world hard, the company is facing huge hurdles.
