Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma teamed up with Akkineni Nagarjuna for their latest film 'Officer'. The movie is getting ready for the release but the makers landed in a new trouble. It is known that 'Officer' movie got postponed due to Varma's legal issues with YT Entertainments. As Varma didn't attend the court hearing, Bombay High Court passed a stay order on the release of 'Officer'.
In a fresh development, Varma landed into another controversy. A writer named Jayakumar is claiming that 'Officer' story has been written by him. He also raised allegations on Ram Gopal Varma that he has taken the story from him and promised to give compensation, credit but he cheated him. Jayakumar released a letter to the media revealing about the whole episode. He announced that he is going to fight with Varma legally.
Jayakumar has already filed a case against Varma in the past. He alleged that his story has been copied by Varma. The case is in the purview of the Hyderabad court now. He said that he provided a story for 'Sarkar 3' and he mailed 'Officer' story to Varma at that time. He revealed that he has sent the story to Varma again after making a few changes. He said that Varma promised to give him compensation and credit for the story but he didn't keep his promise. He expressed his grief that Varma has spoiled his movie career. He requested the industry elders to support him to bring him justice.
