Rana Daggubati has decided to not let go of his Baahubali fame to vain. He has been taking up projects from different languages and he even made two interesting telugu films this year, along with Baahubali-2. The actor has decided that he is more suitable for films that have more author backed characters and different from routine commercial masala films.
So, what he is upto next? He did reveal that he is getting many offers from different languages and he is looking to take up the best possible ones. He said, "I am doing 1945 as my next and it is almost nearing completion. After that, I will do a film on Raja Marthanda Verma's life. That movie will discuss about Marthanda Verma's life and his accomplishments outside of him being the King, who built the famous, Padhmanabha Swamy Temple in Tiruvananthapuram. As, the king of Travancore, he did a lot of good for people and also, those details will be coming out in our film.
" Along with these, I am doing a climate related movie with Prabhu Solomon, who made Kumki in Tamil. This story wil be have climate change and how it effects the animals with Elephants as our prime concentration. It is a film necessary for us at this point of time. After these films, I am planning to star in Hiranyakasyapa, in the direction of Gunasekhar. It will be a visual feast and we are planning to start shooting from end of the next year." Looking at the line-up doesn't he look like an actor who is trying out variety rather than sticking to one kind of making and genre?! All the best, Rana!
