Rana Friendship With Thai Elephants

Rana Daggubati chose a different track as he couldn't become a regular commercial hero with his films early in the career.  He started acting in Tamil, Hindi languages and he started experimenting with his roles later.  The antagonist Bhallaladeva role in Rajamouli magnum opus 'Baahubali' is one of them.  Bhallala role fetched him wonderful popularity among the Indian audience.   Rana continues to experiment with this roles even after 'Baahubali'.

'Haathi Mera Saathi' is one his latest films.  The movie will be made in the forest backdrop and his friendship with an elephant will be the main theme of the film.  Rana always takes his roles seriously and he is doing the same for this film as well.  To give an authentic feel to this character, he getting ready to undergo training under expert trainers(mahouts) in Thailand for two weeks.   Rana is making sure that he knows about the character well before the shoot starts.  He is going to observe how elephants behave and how to deal them.

The film unit is planning an extensive shoot in Thailand forests soon.  The makers have not yet revealed the Telugu title for this film even though Hindi version title is 'Haathi Mere Saathi'.
