Young director Ravikanth Perepu who made an impressive debut in Tollywood with 'Kshanam' took a gap of four years before coming with his second project 'Krishna And His Leela'. This breezy romantic entertainer had to wait for a long time before getting released directly on Netflix.
The film is receiving positive response from all the corners and even critics are praising this film. When asked about the four years gap between his first and second film, Ravikanth said that the gap was not at all intentional. He added that he wanted to work with Rana and narrated a script to him but the 'Leader' hero wasn't impressed. Ravikanth claimed that 'Krishna And His Leela' was narrated to Rana which he denied to act as a hero but came forward to bankroll it.
Ravikanth explored two different genres for his first two films and says that he doesn't like getting stuck in an image. His next film will be a motivational subject and the filmmaker is already working on it as per sources. Hope this young talent goes to places in the future.
