Rana Daggubati who shot to national fame with the Bahubali franchise is slowly gaining a name as a perfect and versatile actor. Ever since his debut film Leader, a political drama he never struck to the so-called commercial formula, unlike the other star heroes who often pick mass masala films.

His every movie is quite different from others be it Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, NTR Mahanayakudu, Bahubali, and Ghazi. He is currently shooting for Aranya which raised the expectations once with just a teaser.

The film was shot in abroad countries as permission to shoot in India with the animals is a bit risky. In this film, Rana essays the role of the mahout. Aranya will be a trilingual film.

"Everyone thinks that my acting in Bahubali as Bhalladeva is the toughest. But after acting in Aranya, I feel Rajamouli sir is a sweetheart. He even built a fort and a statue for me in the film (laughs). In Aaranya, I am literally thrown into forests and among animals," Rana said.

While Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain are the female leads of the film, Pulkit Samrat and Vishnu Vishal will play the parallel lead in Hindi and Tamil-Telugu versions respectively.
