Ranbir Kapoor kept receiving praises for his brilliant portrayal as Sanjay Dutt in 'Sanju'. He not only looked like Kalnayak but also behaved just alike him. But, One Man feels Sanjay Dutt himself should have done his role in the biopic. None would have cared about this comment had if he is a common man but the person who spoke negatively is none other than the biggest star of Indian Cinema.
While promoting 'Race 3', Salman Khan wondered why somebody else played Sanjay Dutt's role in the biopic. He then explained, 'Nobody would be able to do justice particularly what Sanjay Dutt has undergone in the past 8-10 years'.
Whereas, Ranbir Kapoor feels he did the right thing by signing the project as the effect of the character would have been destroyed if Sanjay Dutt himself did the role. He also pointed out, 'Never did a person played lead role in his biopic. I tried my best to do justice to the role. When audience see me as 20/40-Year-Old Sanjay Dutt, They should feel like watching an actor playing Sanju. It's a fact that I can't be Second Sanjay Dutt'.
Even Sanjay Dutt lauded Ranbir Kapoor saying he did a fantastic job playing his role in the biopic.
