Two Crazy Project which were supposed to release in the month of January have been pushed to early Summer.
Rangasthalam 1985: This Ram Charan-starrer was supposed to release for Dussehra 2017 but got postponed to January. Once again the makers choose to delay the release as the shoot hasn't been progressing at a quick pace. Sukumar takes ample time to wrap up a project and that's gonna put a huge burden on the Producer. Mythri Movie Makers will be releasing their next project with a delay of 6 months from the original date.
2.0: This Shankar-directorial was actually slated to release on January 25th, 2018. But now, It will be releasing on April 13th on the eve of Tamil New Year. Akshay Kumar's 'Padman' which was scheduled to release on April 26th got preponed to Republic Day next year.
For Sankranthi, 3-4 Straight Telugu Films are gearing up for release. So, '2.0' mayn't get massive release in Telugu States if it releases for Republic Day weekend. The release has been delayed to Summer considering the huge investment of the Telugu Distributor (Rs 60 crore) and other technical issues.
