Known for his villainy and then for his creative directorial, Ravi Babu has so many fans in Telugu audiences. Talking about his foray into films as a director, he shared an interesting thing.

As he's known as character artist Chalapathi Rao's son, Ravi Babu shared that it's not his father's influence in film industry that won him opportunities.

"My father's name just helped me knock the door. Later I'm on my own. Only if I narrated well, they have given me films. I've first narrated a story to Ramoji Rao, but then everyone in the room is sleeping. Later I made two hit films Nachavule and Nuvvila for the same producer", he said.

Before becoming director, Ravibabu worked as ad-film maker, then as cinematographer in USA and then became actor for 5 years and made his first film "Allari" then.
